William Varney

My name is William Varney and I’m an International History undergraduate at LSE. After my first year studying in London, I now know the significance of the “international” perspective offered by my History department. Too often we accept contemporary viewpoints as objective truths instead of constructed narratives shaped by personal rhetoric and the uniqueness of lived experience. Having realized the importance of building empathy with the communicative actors of past and present, I am better placed to process information and make better informed decisions in my own journey at university and towards my career beyond the LSE. By tutoring with Dialogue Dynamics, I am being given the opportunity to help others hone these skills at a younger age. By passing on my own experiences, I hope to equip aspiring students and future leaders with the tools to think critically and independently. I look forward to meeting you!

Just P

Hi, I’m Just. I’m a second year undergraduate student in History and Modern Languages at Oxford University. I have always been a strong advocate for communication as the solution to all problems. After mastering it, I created my own university debate club, which won first place in a national competition within its first year. This thirst for sharing my knowledge naturally makes me a firm believer in Dialogue Dynamics. Its focus on nurturing critical thinking and dialogue skills is crucial in a world where employers increasingly value these qualities. I look forward to helping students achieve their full potential.
